Help & FAQ

Equigenix is built for structured, repeatable analysis across conformation, balance, movement, and discipline-specific interpretation. Below are answers to common questions about access, features, reporting, and limitations.

General Use

Do I need special equipment?

No. Equigenix requires only a smartphone for capture.

On supported devices, advanced phone capabilities such as LiDAR may enhance certain measurements, but no additional hardware is required.

Is this a one-time assessment app?

No. Equigenix is designed for ongoing monitoring.

The platform is structured for repeated use — allowing you to compare sessions over time, track trends, and document changes.

How often should I analyze a horse?

Frequency depends on your goals:

  • Active training programs: monthly or phase-based

  • Pre-competition monitoring: before and after major events

  • Buying/selling documentation: at time of evaluation

  • Developmental tracking (young horses): periodic structured intervals

Consistency increases the value of longitudinal comparison.

Discipline Tracks
What is a discipline track?

A discipline track adapts how measurements are interpreted based on how your horse competes.

Available tracks include:

  • Show Horse
  • Sport Horse
  • Race Horse
  • Performance Horse

The measurement system remains consistent. Interpretation adjusts to discipline priorities.

Can I switch tracks?

Each subscription includes one discipline track.

Additional tracks can be added to your subscription if your program spans multiple disciplines.

Why are tracks separate?

Structural priorities differ across disciplines.

A racehorse is evaluated differently than a halter horse.

A jumper’s biomechanics differ from a western performance horse.

Tracks ensure relevant interpretation — not generic analysis.

Analysis & Accuracy
Is Equigenix veterinary or diagnostic?

No. Equigenix provides structured informational analysis.

It does not replace veterinarians, licensed professionals, or official judging authorities.

What does lameness detection mean?

Lameness detection identifies measurable asymmetries and irregular movement patterns.

It highlights patterns that may warrant closer attention — but does not provide medical diagnosis.

How accurate is the AI?

Equigenix uses structured measurement workflows and repeatable capture standards.

Results are presented with contextual clarity to support interpretation. Like all analytical systems, output should be considered alongside professional judgment.

Certified Reports
What is a Certified Report?

A Certified Report is a structured documentation of analysis results at a defined point in time.

It includes:

  • Verified horse identification
  • Conformation and balance measurements
  • Movement analysis
  • Written summary
  • Defined validity period
Why do Certified Reports have a validity period?

A horse’s condition changes over time due to training, management, and environment.

The validity window reflects that structured documentation represents a snapshot — not a permanent certification.

When should I use a Certified Report?

Certified Reports are commonly used for:

  • Buying
  • Selling
  • Breeding disclosure
  • Performance documentation

They support transparency while encouraging reassessment when appropriate.

Subscription & Access
What is included in my subscription?

All subscriptions include:

  • One discipline track
  • Structured conformation and movement analysis
  • Written summaries
  • Longitudinal comparison tools

Higher tiers include additional Certified Reports and expanded functionality.

Can I add more discipline tracks?

Yes. Additional tracks can be added to your subscription.

What happens if I cancel?

Access to active monitoring tools ends when your subscription ends. Historical reports remain available according to platform policy.

Sharing & Collaboration
Can I share results?

Yes. Reports can be shared directly from the app with trainers, buyers, sellers, or collaborators.

Can I compare multiple horses?

Yes. Equigenix allows comparison across sessions and across horses within the same structured framework.

Data & Privacy
Is my data secure?

Equigenix uses secure storage practices to protect user data and analysis results.

TRUST, SAFETY & LIMITATIONS

Equigenix provides structured, AI-assisted informational analysis.

Results should not be used as the sole basis for medical, purchase, or sale decisions. Always consult qualified professionals when making significant decisions regarding horse health or transactions.
