Bringing Objective Insight to the Horse World
Equigenix is building the first discipline-aware performance intelligence platform for horses - combining artificial intelligence, structured measurement, and longitudinal monitoring to bring objective insight to training, breeding, buying, and competition.
For generations, riders, trainers, breeders, and buyers have relied on experience, intuition, and trained eyes to evaluate horses. Those skills remain essential. But today’s advances in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and mobile technology allow us to complement human expertise with structured measurement and repeatable analysis.
Equigenix transforms simple smartphone photos and short videos into measurable insights that can be monitored, compared, and understood over time.
Our goal is simple: help horse people make better decisions while protecting the well-being and long-term potential of the horse.

Why Equigenix Exists
Many important decisions in the horse world still rely on what someone believes they see in a single moment - during training, competition, or a sales evaluation.
But horses change. Training, conditioning, age, management, and subtle soundness issues can influence movement and performance. Without structured monitoring, those changes are difficult to measure objectively.
Equigenix was created to make that process clearer.
By turning everyday photos and videos into objective measurements and structured insights, the platform helps riders, breeders, trainers, and buyers move beyond memory and subjective impressions toward documented trends and meaningful comparisons.
The result is greater clarity for training decisions, more confidence for buyers and sellers, and better long-term care for the horse.

Built by a Rider Who Faced the Problem
The idea for Equigenix began with a personal experience in the horse world. My riding journey began alongside my children as a hunter and jumper rider competing in major New England shows with my horse Meteor. After many years enjoying that discipline, I became increasingly fascinated with the purebred Arabian horse - its beauty, intelligence, and personality.
Eventually I decided to purchase a young Arabian and compete in show halter competitions. The buying process proved far more complex, time-consuming, and risky than I expected. Before purchasing my current horse, Valanova, I nearly made two expensive mistakes. In both cases, horses were presented as exceptional prospects, yet deeper research revealed subtle structural or movement problems that were never disclosed.
Fortunately, careful investigation allowed me to avoid those decisions. But the experience made me think about how many other buyers might face the same risks — and how easily that could discourage people from participating in the discipline.
While competing, I also noticed something else: judging results could vary dramatically from one judge to another. While the human element of judging is an important part of the sport, the level of variation made it clear that greater consistency and objective reference points could benefit everyone involved.
Those experiences sparked a simple question: What if modern technology could help bring more transparency, consistency, and clarity to the horse world? Equigenix was created to explore that possibility.
Technology Meets Horsemanship

AI Analysis
Advanced computer vision analyzes conformation, balance, movement symmetry, and structural alignment.

Longitudinal Monitoring
Track how a horse changes over time — training, conditioning, and performance development.

Objective Insight
Clear visualizations and written summaries transform complex measurements into actionable understanding.
Outside the arena, my background is in engineering and artificial intelligence. I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and have spent many years working as both an engineer and a technology entrepreneur.
Equigenix represents the intersection of two worlds: deep respect for horsemanship combined with the capabilities of modern computer vision and AI. By analyzing photos and short videos captured on a smartphone, Equigenix can evaluate conformation, balance, movement patterns, and structural symmetry that may otherwise be difficult to track consistently over time.
Equigenix does not replace trainers, veterinarians, or judges. Instead, it provides an additional layer of structured, objective information that supports the expertise of experienced horse professionals.
Supporting Better Decisions Across the Industry
Equigenix is designed for people who make meaningful decisions about horses:
- Riders and trainers refining performance
- Breeders evaluating structure and movement
- Buyers and sellers seeking transparency
- Owners monitoring long-term soundness
The platform helps users:
- Monitor movement and soundness over time
- Compare horses objectively
- Evaluate conformation and balance
- Support buying, selling, and breeding decisions
- Improve discipline-specific performance
By making analysis repeatable and measurable, Equigenix helps reduce uncertainty while encouraging responsible horse management.
Supporting Better Breeding Decisions
Equigenix helps breeders evaluate structure, balance, and movement traits as part of responsible breeding programs, providing objective insights that support healthier, more transparent long-term decisions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring objective measurement, modern technology, and greater transparency to the horse world.
We believe the future of equestrian sport will combine the wisdom of experienced horsemen with the capabilities of artificial intelligence and data-driven analysis.
By making evaluation more consistent, monitoring more reliable, and decisions more informed, we aim to help riders perform better, breeders make smarter choices, and buyers approach the market with greater confidence.
Most importantly, better information ultimately supports the health, longevity, and well-being of the horse.

Equigenix was founded by Emadeddin Muntasser, an engineer, entrepreneur, and passionate equestrian.
Emadeddin holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and has spent many years building technology systems and businesses.
His journey into the horse world began alongside his children as a hunter/jumper rider competing in major New England shows with his horse Meteor. Over time his interests expanded into the purebred Arabian horse, eventually leading him to purchase and compete with his current horse Valanova.
Experiences during the buying process and in competition revealed how difficult it can be for riders and buyers to access objective, consistent information when evaluating horses.
Those experiences inspired the creation of Equigenix -combining modern AI technology with real-world horsemanship to bring greater transparency, fairness, and insight to the horse industry.
Looking Ahead
The horse world is built on tradition, knowledge, and deep respect for the animal. Equigenix is not about replacing those traditions. It is about strengthening them with better tools.
By applying modern technology thoughtfully, we believe it is possible to improve transparency in buying and selling, support fairer competition, encourage responsible breeding decisions, and protect the well-being of the horse.
Our hope is that these tools will help bring renewed confidence, participation, and enthusiasm to the disciplines we love.
Equigenix is only the beginning.
As technology continues to evolve, so will our understanding of equine movement, structure, and performance. Our mission is to ensure that these innovations serve the horse community responsibly and constructively.
A new chapter for the horse industry is possible — and we are proud to help build it.
